Call of Duty: Warzone confirms the arrival of King Kong and Godzilla to Caldera as part of Operation Monarch, which includes tons of new content.
Activision Blizzard is teasing the arrival of Godzilla and King Kong for Call of Duty: Warzone‘s Caldera, and it looks like the wait is almost over as the two giant monsters will join the battle royale tomorrow. King Kong and Godzilla arrive in Caldera as part of an Operation Monarch limited-time game mode that gives Call of Duty: Warzone fans several days to find the Kaiju.
Operation Monarch runs May 11-25, and the event is not limited to the new game mode, as there are many more activities and rewards to explore beyond King Kong and Godzilla threats. During Operation Monarch, Call of Duty: Warzone players will be able to collect Monarch Intel, do challenges and fight the massive King Kong and Godzilla alongside other players. Some of the themed rewards Call of Duty: Warzone players can unlock by completing Operation Monarch challenges, including Legendary Emblems made for both monsters, Epic Amulet “Ancestral Skull” and Epic Business Card “Skyline Crest”.
Legendary Entertainment joins Raven Software, Sledgehammer Games and Toys for Bob to optimize Operation Monarch to represent Godzilla and King Kong in Caldera as accurately as possible. The two giants will travel across the landscape and eventually fight each other, but Activision Blizzard has confirmed that Godzilla and King Kong are considered Kaiju protectors rather than destroyers, which suggests more creatures may be coming.
