Skyrim fan makes super accurate characters based on themselves and their in-game father

Despite being released over a decade ago, The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim remains one of the most popular and remarkably accessible games currently in circulation. With versions of Skyrim spanning multiple console generations, including a port for the Nintendo Switch, gamers were able to enjoy Skyrim in a variety of ways and achieve a number of unique in-game achievements. Now a player has managed to push the limits of Skyrim’s sense of realism in an exciting new direction.

One of the more discreet but exciting aspects of Skyrim is the creator of your character. In the basic version of Skyrim, the character creator can allow players to create an impressive variety of characters. One player even managed to build Thor in Skyrim, and even without mods, the character looks extremely similar to Thor’s appearance in the MCU. However, mods have allowed players an additional layer of realism to the character creator, as one player recently illustrated.

On Reddit, a user named AureliaRiddle showed a cool image that details the characters in Skyrim she made it portray her and her father. The side-by-side images show just how detailed and realistic the characters are to their real-world counterparts. Not to mention how much mods add to the game’s characters in terms of textures and lighting.

The fact that this user was able to recreate herself and her father in such a high level of detail is extremely impressive to behold. For years, gamers have been pushing the limits of Skyrim in new creative directions, but many of the most ubiquitous features in the game, such as Skyrim’s character creator tend to be overlooked compared to all the crazy things players have managed to do in the game world.

this is amazing Skyrim’s popularity continued to persist long after its initial release, to the point where it continued to impact new players in unexpected ways. This is probably due to the recent release of Skyrim: Anniversary Editionwhich not only added new content to the game, but also made mods more accessible for console gamers.

Regardless, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for The Elder Scrolls series going forward. Almost 1500 days have passed since The Elder Scrolls 6 announcement at E3 2018, and in that time, Bethesda has released little to no new information about the game’s development. With any luck, new details about The Elder Scrolls 6 will be revealed in the coming months.

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is available for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS3, PS4, PS5, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
